Jee Ltd has been providing subsea engineering and training to the oil and gas industry since 1988. Founded by Trevor Jee as an independent pipeline engineering consultancy, we have offices in Aberdeen and Tonbridge and a team of experienced staff and contract engineers. We also work with vetted contractors which means we can scale up quickly to manage larger projects.
From the outset our aim has been to challenge the status quo and lead the way with innovative engineering solutions in order to deliver safe, reliable and cost efficient operations. Our engineers are recognised as the best in their field, and we are often approached to tackle complex projects. Our core expertise is in offshore pipeline engineering, but we offer an extended range of services to meet our clients’ needs and cover the whole project lifecycle.
We also have a solid and expanding portfolio of courses covering design, integrity management, operations and decommissioning for oil and gas assets. To date, we have trained over 8,000 subsea engineers in over 40 countries, and counting!
Many of our engineers who have joined us as graduates, have progressed through the ranks to senior positions, a reflection of our commitment to hiring and investing in the best people.

With over 30 years’ experience in the oil, gas, and renewables industries, we have an impressive track record in the North Sea. We provide subsea services covering the whole life-of-field, from design through operations support and integrity management, to lifetime extension and decommissioning. We are also experts in specialist services such as low cost tie backs, mechanical connectors and pipeline pigging.
Having worked extensively in the North Sea, we have developed long-term relationships with a wide spread of operators. As a result, we have an in-depth understanding of the assets and subsea infrastructure in the region, who owns and operates what, applicable codes, standards, best practice and regulations/legislation. We understand the challenges and implications of the tidal forces and mobile seabed of the North Sea and are experts in fatigue analysis and integrity management.

INSPIRING ENGINEERING TALENT
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) refers to business decision making linked to ethical values, compliance with legal requirements and respect for people, communities and the environment.
Jee's Corporate Social Responsibility policy outlines what we currently do, what we are planning to do in the future and encourages discussion on what we could and should be doing now.
Jee has a policy of matching fundraising by employees and contributing to charities where staff donate their time.
Jee also offers the facility for staff to donate to charities through a process run via the Charities Trust which ensures donations are given tax relief from source through GAYE.
Both offices have a chosen charity, supported by the company and through internal fundraising activities. The Tonbridge office support Cancer Research and Aberdeen supports CRANES (Cancer Research Aberdeen & North East Scotland).

Jee is managed via an integrated business management system certified by DNV to ISO9001 for Quality Management Systems and ISO14001 for Environmental Management. Jee is also ISO45001 accredited, for Occupational Health and Safety.
In order to constantly improve our service, Jee asks for feedback for our engineering services from clients and delegates via industry recognised databases FPAL, Achilles and UVDB.
Jee has also signed up to the oil and gas industry's Supply Chain Code of Practice (SCCoP) to show our commitment to ethical behaviours and fair principles throughout the supply chain.
Supporting local schools
Jee is proud to support STEMNET, a national organisation funded by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills whose goal is to inspire students to take up Science Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) subjects at school.
Several of our engineers are STEM Ambassadors and regularly talk to young people – in local schools and career fairs - about career opportunities open to students who pursue STEM studies. We also offer short work experience placements to local school students.
Jee is committed to reducing our impact on the environment and promoting good environmental practice. We encourage recycling and currently have facilities for paper, cardboard and plastic as well as printer toner cartridges.

All new joiners go through a comprehensive, planned induction process to ensure that they understand company policies and the Jee business. Once a new recruit has passed their probation, they are eligible to join the benefits scheme, which includes elements such as a pension, private healthcare, cycle scheme and flexible working hours.
Jee’s offices are open plan, with all levels of staff sitting together. Employees are encouraged to ask the leadership team questions and give feedback. Regular team meetings for the whole company and an intranet ensure everyone is kept informed on all areas of the business.
