We have Rebranded
All of us at Jee are excited to share our new rebranded look with you. Our rebrand reflects our plans for significant growth and expansion of our engineering consultancy services and training portfolio within the renewable and low carbon energy sector. This is in-line with the global energy transition to net-zero and low carbon energy – a goal we are committed to.
Founded by Trevor Jee in 1988, Jee provides subsea pipeline engineering, consulting, and training services to the oil, gas, and renewables industries. Our aim has always been to challenge the status quo and lead the way with innovative engineering solutions to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-efficient operations.
We have offices in Aberdeen and Tonbridge, and a team of experienced staff and contract engineers. Our engineers are recognised as the best in their field, and we have built a reputation on successfully tackling complex projects. Our core expertise is in offshore pipeline engineering, but we offer an extensive range of services to meet our clients’ needs over the whole project lifecycle.
Complementing our consulting business is our expanding training portfolio. Our courses cover design, integrity management, operations and decommissioning for oil and gas assets, and renewable energy. To date, we have trained over 9,000 subsea and pipeline engineers in over 40 countries.
We are proud of our commitment to developing our people. Many of our senior positions are filled by engineers who joined us as graduates and progressed through the ranks – evidence of our approach of hiring the best people and investing in them.
The things which set Jee apart from other subsea engineering and pipeline consultancies is our customer-focused approach, our long-term trusted partner ethos, and our niche expertise. These factors mean we can be effective where others fail and is reflected in our superior client feedback scores.
The Future and Our Place in It
With over 30 years of skills and expertise we are at the forefront of subsea engineering, and well positioned as the ever-changing subsea market moves towards the goal of net-zero.
We bring our methodical approach to every project we undertake, ensuring that our clients are kept informed and updated at each step while our engineers work on innovative solutions.
Our consulting services in the renewables space include the following:
We already have significant experience in offshore wind meaning we can assist clients throughout their project – from acquiring permits and licences, concept design, installation, operation phase studies through to asset management. Our project management credentials mean that we can facilitate projects as owner engineers. Our track record for subsea power cables includes cable routing of array and export cables, cable layout optimization, and cable stability.
The repurposing of offshore infrastructure is key within the decommissioning sector and Jee champions the benefits of leaving offshore oil and gas infrastructure in-situ after production has ceased. There is environmental gain to using brownfield sites rather than greenfield when considering or building new infrastructure and we are ideally placed to advise and support on the decarbonisation of existing assets.
Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) and hydrogen
With our expertise in subsea pipelines, our involvement in the ISO standards and our long-standing track record in Lifetime Extension (LTE), Jee can assist with the assessments for possible pipeline change-of-use both onshore and offshore. Additionally, our engineers can assist with new pipelines for carbon dioxide and hydrogen, from concept to install and management.
Jee continues to be your trusted partner in subsea engineering as we move toward net-zero.
