About the course

This course is suitable for operator, contractor and supply chain personnel, and also those regulating the process. This course is designed to explore the considerations for the integrity management of ageing systems and detail the steps required to justify continued and safe operation beyond original design life. It also covers the assessment of various time-dependent degradation mechanisms, operability and obsolescence issues. Finally, our engineering experience in the field of pipeline lifetime extension will be highlighted throughout the course using a series of case studies.

Jee convened the working group responsible for the development of ISO TS 12747, defining a methodology for the lifetime extension (LTE) of rigid pipelines. We are currently in the process of extending the scope to include flexibles.
