Jee extends capabilities to include specialist offshore wind farm cables engineering support

As the Round 3 projects get underway, the offshore wind industry is now, more than ever, in need of experienced, specialist engineering support – something in which Jee, with its new renewables department, is fully equipped to take the lead.

Jee’s capabilities span all phases of offshore cable engineering including conceptual studies, FEED, detailed design, pre-construction/installation and integrity management.  Jee has expertise in routing and landfalls, fatigue assessment and monitoring, fishing interaction/protection, cable verification and foundation pull-in installation.

Recent and ongoing projects on Greater Gabbard and Barrow wind farms demonstrate Jee’s knowledge and expertise in renewables in the subsea environment; specialist skills easily transferred from a solid foundation in offshore oil and gas.
