Jee wins 3 year integrity management contract extension

Jee, a pipeline, riser and subsea engineering firm, has been awarded a 3 year contract extension, with a further optional 2 years, for the integrity management of Perenco’s 1600km of pipelines and umbilicals in the southern North Sea. This contract is part of Jee’s ongoing relationship with Perenco which has included pipeline integrity management and operational support for the past 6 years.

The contract means Jee will provide a complete pipeline integrity management service for Perenco, including risk-based inspection planning, technical integrity assessment, development and prioritisation of preventative and remedial activities, and representation to Government authorities. However, as a truly independent engineering company, Jee will not carry out the inspections of the pipelines, which ensures there is no conflict of interest, that inspection and remedial workscopes are both optimised and fully justified, that the most appropriate technologies are selected from the market, and that Perenco can competitively tender these workscopes to ensure best value. With this arrangement Jee is always safe-guarding Perenco’s best interests.
