Jee's subsea engineering courses go online
Jee, a specialist provider of pipeline, riser and subsea engineering courses, today announced that its suite of training courses will be available in online distance learning format from September. This move allows individuals to complete a Jee course from anywhere in the world, without the cost or inconvenience of travelling to a regional training venue.
Courses range from comprehensive overviews of subsea pipelines, risers and control systems to practitioner level courses addressing the design, construction and integrity management issues of subsea pipelines and risers. Each course will take 12 weeks to complete and delegates will learn from interactive, tailor-written content designed for the online learning environment.
Commenting on Jee’s online distance learning, Trevor Jee, Managing Director of Jee Limited said “We decided this was the right time to invest in our courses and bring them online. Our delegates want the ability to fit training around busy personal and work schedules and companies are keen to reduce travel time and costs – our online courses address both issues.”
The first courses going online in September are at foundation level, Overview of subsea pipelines and Overview of risers, umbilicals and flexibles, with more being scheduled from January 2010. Full programme details can be viewed at www.jee.co.uk.
