Site visits - Aberdeen

Overview of subsea systems course delegates now also benefit from a site visit to Acergy as part of the course package to see first hand functioning subsea equipment.




You will:

• see first-hand a working Remotely operated vehicle (ROV) called Acergy Core Vehicle (ACV) used for underwater intervention and survey
• visit the ROV Support workshop and see a selection of ROV tools and diving equipment to put into perspective knowledge gained and technologies discussed on the course
• visit Acergy’s workshop facilities to see how everything works
• get the chance to discuss with Acergy’s engineers the build, operational capabilities and maintenance of the ROVs
• see a demonstration of Acergy’s Envision virtual reality environmental simulation system
• PLUS, see the Vehicle simulator used to train ROV pilots
